Frequently Asked Questions

Our most frequently asked questions

How do I start a custom silicone mold project?

Customer: "I have a new silicone part – where do I begin?"

We: "Send your 3D CAD file or physical sample. Also tell us material grade (food/medical/industrial), color, hardness, and target quantity. No CAD? Just share a sketch or photo – we'll help design it. We'll reply with DFM check and quote in 24–48 hours. Mold making starts after approval, samples in 7–10 days."

What’s your typical lead time? Do you take rush orders?

Customer: "How fast can you make molds and ship products?"

We: "Mold making: 5-7 days. Sample available 1-3 days after mold completion. Production: 7–15 days for standard orders. Yes, rush orders welcome – just tell us your deadline."

What’s your MOQ? Can I order only 500 pieces?

Customer: "I just need a small batch for testing – is that OK?"

We: "Yes, we accept low MOQ, even a few hundred pieces. Mold is the main cost; small batch per-unit price is higher, but you can reuse the same mold later. We also offer prototypes or low-volume runs."

I only have a physical sample, no 3D file. Can you still help?

Customer: "I don’t have CAD. Only a sample or a hand sketch."

We: "Absolutely. We can 3D-scan your sample or reverse-engineer from your sketch. Extra engineering fee may apply depending on complexity – contact us for a quote."

Do you have FDA / LFGB / RoHS certified silicone?

Customer: “My product needs to meet food safety standards – can you provide certified materials?”

We: “Yes – our silicone raw materials are compliant with FDA, LFGB, RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65. For medical applications, we can source ISO 10993‑compatible raw materials. We supply material certificates upon request. We do not certify finished products – only the raw materials we use.”
